Living in Hawaii we keep a full stock of beach towels. I actually first experimented with ICM (in camera movement) with a few beach towels hanging over the lanai (deck) wall, drying in the sun. Pink and Red Ginger, known in Hawaii as the ʻAwapuhi flower, grows in many places on the cooler, eastern shores of the islands. It’s dense, wax-like flowers last for many days and are often seen in landscapes and fresh flower arrangements. Photographs from this series are taken in my backyard garden.
