Keiki Pua (Children Flowers) Series

Keiki Pua (Child Flowers) Series

Our wonderful friend, Stacey Olson, invited myself and Roxanne to visit her 1st grade class (she's the teacher) and create some kind of artwork with her 24 students that could then be placed in the school's silent auction. I decided to donate a photograph that would be printed on stretched canvas. And I had the idea for each child to bring a flower, or group of flowers to school on the day of … [Read more...]

It’s dense, wax-like flowers last for many days and are often seen in landscapes and fresh flower arrangements. Photographs from this series are taken in my backyard garden. Please click on the thumbnail images below to see a larger, non-cropped version. You can … [Read more...]

Holoholo (Cruising) Series

Cruising #3 from the Mea Series.

Turns out, I’m an impatient driver… So now my partner, Roxanne, spends most of the time behind the wheel when we’re in the car together. This allows me to capture an entirely different energy than the mea (things) I photograph around the yard and house. Please click on the thumbnail images below to see a larger, non-cropped version. You can also start a slide show that will automatically … [Read more...]
