Portfolio

Currently my Portfolio consists of several Fine Art Photography Series.

All the images below are available at my Etsy Shop in Limited Editions in limited sizes. Most all of my photos can be printed at various sizes up to very large dimensions. Additionally, I can print on stretched and loose canvas and aluminum.

Samples of the various sizes and materials coming soon.

I am seeking Gallery representation for large prints and very small exclusive Limited Editions. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to discuss wholesale pricing or gallery/retail representation.

Please note: all of the photographs in the ʻAwapuhi (Ginger), Kāwele (Towels), Mea (Objects), and Holoholo (Cruising) Series were created entirely “in camera.” No Photoshop, digital manipulation, or post-processing of any kind was used in the creation of this photographs.

ʻAwapuhi (Ginger) Series

Ginger #1, from the Awapuhi SeriesPink and Red Ginger, known in Hawaii as the ʻAwapuhi flower, grows in many places on the cooler, eastern shores of the islands. It’s dense, wax-like flowers last for many days and are often seen in landscapes and fresh flower arrangements. Photographs from this series are taken in my backyard garden.

Kāwele (Towels) Series

Towel #8, from the Kawele SeriesLiving in Hawaii we keep a full stock of beach towels. I actually first experimented with ICM (in camera movement) with a few beach towels hanging over the lanai (deck) wall, drying in the sun. I love the depth of color and shadows they create.

Mea (Objects) Series

Object #4, from the Mea Series“Found objects” have long been a part of “art” but are not my style. I was surprised at the results when I first pointed my lens on things found in my home and in the carport where I paint and do wood-working. Quite ordinary objects reveal amazing light, shadow, and texture when I paint them “in camera.”

Holoholo (Cruising) Series

Cruising #3, from the Holoholo SeriesTurns out, I’m an impatient driver… So now my partner, Roxanne, spends most of the time behind the wheel when we’re in the car together. This allows me to capture an entirely different energy than the mea (things) I photograph around the yard and house.
