Join us in selecting gifts that give back this year. As a Cultural Insider for the Andaz Maui at Wailea luxury resort, (details below), Shane was selected to contribute artwork for the first ever Andaz Holiday Bazaar. 100% of the proceeds are being given to Women for Women International. The online holiday shopping is hosted by Joyus.com; no doubt you will find unique gifts created by local artists and social entrepreneurs who are all part of the global Andaz Salon experience. Gifts just went on sale and will be available for purchase through December 31, 2013.

This is a unique opportunity to purchase a limited edition print of Shane’s work and donate 100% of the price to Women for Women International. Do good, feel good, and collect art that was sourced from the mana of Andaz Maui at Wailea. Scroll down to see the full image.

About the Andaz Holiday Bazaar

In Hawaii, the tradition of sharing and giving back is finely woven into the day to day culture of almost everything we do. You may have heard it called the spirit of Aloha. This event is a perfect companion: 100% of the profits from the sale of all items will be going directly to Women for Women International. We decided to create a special limited edition for this image for this event. Arrival Ti #14 is one of our favorite images from the Andaz Art Series 1. It vibrates with an almost three-dimensional effect. You can feel the molecules of Maui dancing right before your eyes. The full rainbow of colors harmonize in a way that only nature could create for us. This image was created in camera, shot on the grounds of the Andaz Maui at Wailea. It is part of the series of work that was commissioned for the hotel this summer to hang in the Executive Offices.

We chose to make this gift a limited edition of 5 (at 18” by 12”) to encourage people to join us in supporting to Women to Women International as generously as possible while adding to your fine art collection. 100% of the proceeds are given back. This piece is equally beautiful (end energetically supportive) in your home, office, spa, or commercial space.

Press Release Data for Andaz Holiday Bazaar

The following is brought to you by Andaz Salon and Shane Robinson, Maui Artist:

I am a contemporary abstract artist on Maui and serve as a Cultural Insider for the Andaz brand, which means that I participate in the Andaz Salon program; event date to be announced shortly.

The Andaz Salon is a series of events that delivers cultural experiences for Andaz guests and neighbors to engage in creative discussion with the guidance of a unique host – that host can be a local artist, designer, author, chef – anyone who has a passion for creativity and a passion for sharing it with others. Andaz Salon also has a virtual hub so travelers that aren’t staying at an Andaz hotel can still feel connected to the salon and to the interesting locations where Andaz hotels are located.

The Andaz Salon – and the brand as a whole – aims to create inspiring experiences for travelers, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the first ever Andaz Holiday Bazaar.

The Andaz Holiday Bazaar is a direct extension of the Andaz Salon program – Andaz has engaged with artists and up-and-coming talent in the communities around the world that Andaz calls home to commission unique, one-of-a-kind items for the bazaar.

From November 15 through the end of the year, you can visit www.joyus.com/giftsthatgiveback and purchase a selection of limited-edition, handcrafted items – the best part is that all of these gifts give back. 100 percent of the money made from the sale of these items will go directly to Women for Women International, a nonprofit organization that helps women in war-torn communities to rebuild their lives.

Thank you for your support of my work, for Andaz, and most importantly, for Women for Women International. - Shane Robinson
